Mt Rainier Retreat| Hot Tub & Mountain View, EV

We don’t like unexpected surprises on vacation, so we hope to set expectations and be transparent. Please talk to your group to ensure this is a good fit for everyone for possible occurrences out of our control. Pets: we love pets, but ask they don’t the furniture and beds. The pet is $110. If you don’t disclose to us for us to properly line up extra cleaning, this can result in a $150 fee. Hot tub: we thoroughly clean the hot tub between each guest. Please shower/rinse off to remove dirt, mud, lotions, soaps, etc in the water. Absolutely NO salts, bath bombs or bubbles allowed. You can save that for the indoor bath tub. NO glass to avoid accidents. Please use plastic cups. Please review and decide if this is a fit for you and your guests. Failure to do so might lead to draining and extra extensive maintenance which would result in extra $200 fee. Power Outages: Occasionally, the power goes out in Ashford during a heavy rain or winter storm. We have a propane stovetop, a gas grill for cooking, and a gas fireplace for heat source. We also provide 4 led lanterns for each bedroom to carry around. Please note that the hot tub, wall heaters and WIFI all require electricity. Perfect time to start a fire in the fire pit, nap, read a book, play a game, work on a puzzle, color or draw! Snow: In the winter, you may encounter snow so please be prepared with AWD and/or tire chains. Tire chains are required in your car from November-May if you plan on going up to Mt. Rainier NP. Our driveway is flat, though can be icy. We try and keep it plowed as often as we can, but there may be times when you'll need to drive in snow and ice (weather dependent). Cell phone service & Wifi: We personally have Verizon and AT&T. Verizon seems to be more consistent than AT&T, but messages will eventually go through. Our WIFI is around 33 mbps, but do note that you are in the “wilderness” and there will often be times WIFI cuts in and out or even complete outages. We encourage you to unwind in our relaxing retreat with the suggested activities listed above! We do not provide firewood since most things are gas powered. If you chose to use our outdoor fire pit, you can purchase firewood at the general store nearby. We take cleanliness very seriously, and our housekeeper treats every turnover with utmost care and detail. Helping us with these few ask kick starts the clean, so she is able to focus on ensuring you have the best stay. Check-out instructions: -Please wash all dishes or start dishwasher. Knives & pots/pans are hand wash only -Please empty out the trash in the kitchen, and put it in the garbage (green)/recycle (gray) can. Please securely close the lids to avoid attracting animals. -Please securely lock the back and front door behind you
